I think these cards are cute as a button!
They're super easy too!
All you have to do is glue a few buttons onto a card
(We used 3"x4" cards cut out of 100lb paper)
I put dabs of glue onto the cards to make it easier for A
she put the buttons on the dabs and slid the "peas" around where she wanted them
C put dabs of glue onto the card herself as well as the buttons
Next
I had the girls cut pod shapes out of green construction paper
I drew a template for C and she cut along the line
For A, I helped guide three cuts to make a pea pod
One down, one across, and one up
Glue the construction paper pod over the peas
Once the glue is dry
add tendrils to the ends of the pods
(my girls love drawing spirals!)
I traced around the edges of the pod with black pen to make it pop a bit
Then added our Valentine message
and that's it!
Send these cards to your favorite sweet pea!
