Tiger Spin Art

We made these spin art tigers after creating a jungle in our art studio (which also happens to double as a school room)

During nap time I painted some paper plates orange and cut them to fit our salad spinner when they were dry

When Charlotte woke up they were ready to be used!
I secured the plate to the salad spinner with some tape so it wouldn't fly around while being spun

I love having a pull string salad spinner
it's great for building that arm strength up!
Our soon to be tigers, I love how all the stripes are different
just like real tigers!
Glue on some ears
cut out from the leftover paper plates I cut off earlier
Stamp on some noses
(we used heart shaped foam lacing beads)
Stamp on some eyes
after looking at a picture of a real tiger we noticed they have golden eyes
so we used yellow paint
Add some white yarn for whiskers
and use marker for outlining the eyes and filling in the pupils
and
you have your very own uniquely striped spin art tigers!
