I suspect there is no better medium for producing a brilliant finished piece. We thickened tempera with white glue simply because acrylic paint isn&#39;t washable and I have an unspoken agreement with my parents that they&#39;ll let me get their kids messy just as long as they can wash them! Love your variations. It really is fun.
